Call Derek was built on a simple idea: Maintaining your home shouldn't feel like a part-time job.

Owning a home is a lot of work, and we're all busy. Tasks pile up and start to feel intimidating, and sometimes just diagnosing the problem is the hard part. On top of that, your home is your biggest investment — you want it done right.

I became a handyman to give busy homeowners someone who can actually answer their questions and fix the problem, giving them one less thing on their plate.

Before Call Derek, I spent years on job sites, commercial and residential, running crews and keeping projects on schedule and up to code. I learned how houses get built by being on-site every day, watching them come together from the ground up.

That's why I can walk into most jobs, from a wobbly deck to a full apartment turnover, and already have a sense of what's going on and what it'll take to fix it.
